Perch Markets

The market moves. Perch notices.

Perch Markets — opening screen

01The brief

A trader wanted to stop watching screens and still know, in plain language, when something on a fixed watchlist moved. No promise of an edge: a disciplined alert feed with a journal that keeps score against itself — on the web first, then on the phone.

02What we built

Perch watches a fixed watchlist continuously and surfaces what is worth your attention in plain language, seconds after it happens. It is a discipline-and-journaling system built on a technical alert feed — not a promise of an edge. The iPhone app carries a four-step calibration before any permission is asked, a three-symbol watchlist, observation detail with evidence and weakening factors, Sign in with Apple, StoreKit subscriptions and APNs — all server-authoritative, failing closed on anything malformed. No red or green anywhere.

  • Marketing site and authenticated product
  • iPhone app in Expo / React Native: Today, Watchlist, Signals, Profile; observation detail; calibration flow
  • Scanner, Telegram bot and a single delivery worker with an outbox
  • A performance verdict the journal can reproduce, live, every time; VPS release evidence and tests

03Where it stands

Web product deployed and in beta; the iPhone app is a simulator-verified MVP shell with demo and production modes, not yet on the App Store. By its own measure, the top alert tier is not yet statistically distinguishable from chance — and the product says so.
